Teddy holds a diploma in clinical psychiatry and Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and Health Promotion a short course on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has worked with MRC on the CHAKA study involved working with adolescents and children with HIV  and psychiatric disorders. In addition, she has worked with brain gain recovery project at Butabika dealing with resetting patients back in the community after treatment at hospital and their rehabilitation. Teddy has worked with Island mission Uganda an NGO that goes about extending medical and psychiatric services to the hard to reach areas like Zinga islands, Koma islands and many others. Currently Teddy is working with TLF and smile study that deals with HIV in patients with severe mental illnesses. Teddy is so good with children and has achieved many awards in her line of work with adolescents.
